MITSUBISHI HAS ANNOUNCED a number of basic updates to the Japanese-market 2010 Mitsubishi Evolution X, and while it’s too early to say which, we can expect some of these tweaks to appear on the Australian model

Slightly thicker side skirts run along the bottom of the doors, and lighter plastics feature up front, weighing 1.5kg less than the items they replace.

Inside, a new full-colour multi-function LCD display in the centre of the instrument cluster replaces the existing screen, bringing more functions at the same time.

Minor trim updates and improved insulation round out the interior updates.

Mitsubishi Motors Australia’s Lenore Fletcher said that while some of the Japanese market updates could appear on Australian-delivered models late this year or early next, it’s too soon to say exactly which features will make the leap.
